Hi Guys!

Published by windmill under Post Edit This

As you would have noticed, I have not published anything since Mar 6. I don’t intend to until whatever is causing the extremely poor loading of this site improves.

I have been experiencing repeatedly for almost a month now a c-r-a-w-l-i-n-g load time at this Blog. I have said that a few times here. So I am not going to be long winded about it.

Till whatever is causing the poor performance of this loading get repaired or whatever, and given the week’s ultimatum to continue with this Blog, I may or may not return to blog here.

Cheers!

Dang! Running this Blog is a misery.

Published by windmill under Post Edit This

Earlier I ranted about the pathetic loading speed involved at my end to access the Dashboard of this Blog. It has not improved and continues till today.

Like I said before, I am also experiencing the same problem when accessing daily at other Today dot com Blogs everyday when making my EC drops. And I do not have this problem with non Today dot com Blogs.

It is such a sheer waste of time having to wait and wait and wait for Today dot com to be accessed so that I am able to publish my articles as well as to accept Comments from visitors.

I am going to give this Blog another week of my patience. If the present loading speed keeps on like it is today, I shall stop and delete this Blog. It does not make anymore sense to run a Blog like it is now at Today dot com.

I do not wish to speculate on the sudden deterioration of the loading time at Today dot com. I have no proof to support my speculation and I think it does not take much to guess what I mean.

Till then…..

Whoa! Asian markets tumble

Published by windmill under Post Edit This

Big falls amid financial crisis worries tumbled Asian markets. Taking their cue from Wall Street’s fall to near 12 year lows.

Fears deepen over the ravaging effects of the global financial crisis and the plight of major banks. Financial issues were dragged down by the losses among their U.S peers. Automakers in Japan showed sales of new automobiles plunge 32 percent last month - the steepest decline since 1974.

Uncertainty is driving the market right now. The spectre that there is no end for the global financial woes and the extended losses demonstrate such fears. Furthermore, a steeper fall of the local currency against the U.S Dollar hurt sentiment even further.

The global economic crisis is far from over and it is causing the market to be nervous.

In another scenario, the American Internation Group (AIG) reported a quarterly net loss of USD61.7 Billion. HongKong Bank (HSBC) announced Britain’s largest ever rights issue.

Here in Malaysia, the stock market fell by more than 1.5 percent on Mar 2nd on concerns that the country’s economy is slowing and weaker-than-expected corporate earnings. Similarly, the regional markets were not spared as they are driven by fear of a deepening clobal recession.

The major bourses in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia depreciated between 2.88 percent and 4.43 percent.

Near-term growth outlook remains grim. In the meantime, all eyes will be on Government announcement on Stimulus Packages to inject some level of optimism.

What’s up with Today dot com’s server?

Published by windmill under Post Edit This

Am I the only one who’s experiencing difficulties with the loading time of Today dot com’s blog? It took me more than 45 minutes to get to this editor to write this article.

Fact is, I have observed a sharp deterioration of Today dot com’s speed for a week now. And there has not been any sign of improvement.

Similarly, when I try to access other bloggers who use Today dot com, their Blogs take an undue amount of time to load.

Now if it be said that it is a problem over at my side, then I should also be having loading problems with my Blog that runs from an external webhost and hundreds of other Blogs that I access. But I don’t have problems with non Today dot com Blogs.

This is not the way to be paid for blogging. Nosiree! This is being paid for waiting.
